FREE Power BI Project Status Dashboard (PBIX)

This sample report provides a simple example of how project information can be displayed in Power BI. It shows a basic layout for progress, financials, accomplishments, planned actions, risks, issues and timelines.

The download contains a single PBIX file with a basic project status layout. It includes placeholder fields for project details, financials, weekly updates and a timeline. No sample data is included.

If the file is improved or updated in the future, you’ll receive the new version.

Power BI Desktop is required to open and use this report. No Premium or Fabric licences are needed unless you choose to publish it to the Power BI Service.

Download the PBIX file and open it in Power BI Desktop. Review the layout and explore how the fields are arranged. This sample is intended for demonstration only and should be replaced with your own project information if you choose to build on it.

Quick Start Instructions

1. Download: Save and extract the .zip package containing the .pbix file and the Data Prep Guide.
2. Open the report in Power BI Desktop and add your preferred project data source.
3. Filter & Refresh: Use the Filters Pane to select your project . The visuals will update instantly.
